Founding pilot terms
Effective September 8, 2026. These terms describe the current Next Hand Closeout founding partner service. A signed pilot agreement may add or replace terms for a specific customer.
$750 one-time implementation plus $149 per month, with a three-month initial subscription. The implementation includes workflow discovery, company branding, workspace configuration, first-project setup, and a team launch session for up to five users.
The service
Next Hand Closeout provides a hosted operational workspace for tracking projects, belongings, destinations, responsible people, deadlines, exceptions, completion records, and related non-sensitive attachments. Features may evolve during the founding pilot.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate account and workspace information.
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes.
- Control team access and promptly remove former workers or unauthorized users.
- Maintain appropriate independent records for legal, tax, appraisal, insurance, accounting, or payment purposes.
- Obtain any permissions needed to upload client or third-party information.
- Avoid medical, financial, regulated, or highly sensitive records.
What is not included
The service does not provide physical moving, selling, hauling, appraisal, valuation, legal advice, tax advice, insurance services, property custody, escrow, or payment handling. Complex data migration, integrations, custom automation, additional users, and separate branded app-store releases require a separate written scope.
Pilot acceptance
The implementation is accepted when the configured workspace, first project, agreed branding, and team launch session are delivered. Any different acceptance criteria should be written into the customer pilot agreement before work begins.
Fees and cancellation
Fees, billing dates, and payment method will be stated in the signed pilot agreement or invoice. After the initial three-month subscription, either party may end the service according to the cancellation notice stated in that agreement. Unpaid accounts may be suspended after reasonable notice.
Availability and support
This is a founding pilot, not a guaranteed emergency or safety system. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the service and respond to support requests, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Do not rely on reminders as the only record of a legal, property, or safety deadline.
Customer information
The customer retains ownership of information it submits. Next Hand Exchange may process that information only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. Export and deletion requests are handled under the privacy policy and the customer agreement.
Intellectual property
Next Hand Exchange retains ownership of the shared platform, code, designs, and general improvements. Customers retain their names, logos, submitted information, and other customer-owned materials. Configuring branding does not transfer ownership of the shared platform.
Warranty and liability
The founding pilot is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, Next Hand Exchange disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. A signed customer agreement should state any negotiated warranty, service commitment, and liability limit.
Changes and contact
We may update these public terms as the service matures. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to patrick.mortenson3@gmail.com.
These pilot terms should be reviewed with qualified legal counsel before broader commercial launch.
